Q. What is the style of your photography?
A. Our Baby, Family and Wedding Photography is fun, fresh and natural. Lots of laughs, giggles and smile.

Q. I have no idea what to do or how to stand during my Family Photography session/ Wedding photographs can you help us with this?
A. Yes! We love to capture you being you but we also understand that if we ask you to “just go under that tree and be natural” you may end up looking more stiff than natural in photographs. We will help you along the way – a little or a lot! Everyone is different so we work in with you.

Q. Can you help us decide where to take our Wedding, Baby or Family photographs?
A. We are based in Pakington Street Geelong where we have a beautiful light filled photography studio perfect for baby, kids and even wedding photography. Also though we love to photograph in the great outdoors – Lorne and Ballarat are fav spots especially for weddings!

Q. So when should I book my wedding, baby and family Photography?
A. As a general rule we book Weddings approx. 18 months in advance. It is recommended that Baby Photography booked whilst still pregnant as the best time to photograph bub is within the first 10 days from birth (we are super flexible with these dates). Family Photography books about 8 weeks in advance sometimes more for a weekend photography session.

Q. Where do you mostly photograph weddings?
A. Geelong, Torquay, Queenscliff, Lorne, Colac, Ballarat, Anglesea are some of our fav spots. Basically anywhere on the Great Ocean Road, Bellarine or City of Greater Geelong.

Q. Can I reserve my date?
A. Especially during peak wedding season (October – April) we book up pretty quickly. Generally Saturdays are the most popular day. We do not hold dates if you are keen to book your booking is finalised when the paperwork is returned along with the deposit of $500.

Q. Is the deposit refundable?
A. The deposit is transferrable but not refundable.

Q. What is included in your Wedding Photography coverage?
A. Well its simple really. All coverage’s include digital files, some include LUXE wedding albums. All include a gift album from us to you, at no change!

Q. Do I have to have exactly what everyone has?
A. No No No…. We customize Wedding Photography to suit you and your wedding. Most of our clients choose to have the groom preparations through until the formalities of the reception but its totally up to you.

Q. Can you show us through some recent Weddings?
A. Come into have a chat and we chat weddings, show you pics and of course you can show us your engagement ring! Also check out the BLOG for our recent work.

Q. We have no idea about how long we need to photos can you help us with this?
A. Once we have locked in the booking we will go through all the ins and out of the day including timing.

Q. My fiancé is so nervous and hates photos –what can you do?
A. All of our wedding photography bookings include a complimentary Pre Wedding (Engagement) Photo Shoot. This is where you get to shake out any nerves, have a laugh and get a feel for how relaxed and fun this part of the wedding day will be. Guys normally leave this session with a “ ahh that wasn’t as bad as I though” mentality – perfect preparation for the wedding day. Check out the Engagement Photo Gallery.

Q. Do we receive the images from the pre wedding session too?
A. Sure do, in digital form. Perfect for hens night invites or the like!

Q. Will Sara be the photographer on the Wedding Day?
A. Unless you have booked one of our associate photographers then yes Sara is your gal!

Q. What our photographer has a major emergency and can’t make it?
A. Well to date this hasn’t happened (touch wood) but if it was then we would replace her with another professional photography of similar ability. We have a network of other photographers who assist in coming to the rescue in these circumstances.

Q. So on the Wedding Day it is just the one photographer?
A. Well the photographer + at least 1 . If you have commissioned just Sara then you will find Sara and one of her fun filled assistants (they carry the bag, find the parks and carry the champagne too!). You can of coarse choose to commission 2 photographers , Sara and one of her associate photographers – who will photograph everything from start to end!

Q. Do we have to feed you or can you just survive all day long?
A. Well we have a little stash of energy treats to nibble on but to be honest we are so into photographing our weddings that we often forget completely to eat! A vendor meal from your reception venue would be most appreciated.

Q. What happens after the Wedding?
A. Well the honeymoon for you guys and for us we spend several (ok like days) editing your memories. They will all be ready to roll in their best form for when you pick them up.

Q. How long does it take to get my Wedding photos?
A. Generally allow 6 weeks. Sometimes it’s a little more, sometimes a little less just depending on the time of year

Q. There are so many photos how do I decide which ones to put in my album?
A. We will do a preliminary design up for you which gives you somewhere to start. From here we can work together to refine the design.

Q. We love your Wall Art can you please order something for our home after the Wedding?
A. Yes! In fact many of our clients receive monetary gifts from family and friends to go towards something beautiful for your home

Q. I am having a wedding on the coast, do you do beach wedding photography?
A. Yes we do. We love a beach wedding and are happy to meet you at your desired pre-arranged beach location in Geelong or along the Surf Coast and Bellarine Peninsula. Take a look at our wedding photography gallery for some examples of our beach wedding photography.

Q. What ages can you cater to for baby photography?
A. All ages. With our collective years of experience we are baby photographers! Sara Taylor has over 12 years experience working with newborns, toddlers and children of all ages we are more than happy to crawl on the floor and perform a one woman puppet show to capture the perfect photograph of your baby or child. Ask us about our ideas for creating newborn photography to suit you and your brand new baby.

Q. We would like a family photography portrait taken on our property, are you able to help?
A. Absolutely! While we are a family photographer based in Geelong we are happy to meet you at a location that reflects your family and has them feeling happy and relaxed. This may be at your house, at the park, at the beach – anywhere. We will travel along the Surf Coast (Torquay, Bells Beach, Apollo Bay, Lorne, Anglesea, The Otways), Ballarat, Colac or the Bellarine Peninsula (Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Queenscliff, Drysdale, Portarlington, Point Lonsdale) and all over Geelong.
